Funmigurumi Monkeyroo No. 12: Kima

Best Blog Tips

Kima means monkey in Swahili, so I decided that at least one of my monkeyroos would have a "real" monkey name. This is the last monkeyroo of the series, and a good one it has been! I think we have streteched our creativity and love of color, haven't we? We will be moving on to a new Amigurumi next time, but I will reserve it as a surpirse. For now, here's Kima!

Spots' biggest problem is that he cannot believe how is it that Mama has a radar that always catches him red-handed! Hope you enjoy the pattern.

Note: You can use cotton yarn if you like, but personally, I prefer acrylic yarn because it can be thrown into the washer and into the dryer often to keep the toy clean and it will not shrink.

Now measure duckieroo’s little head so that you can place the bill centered. Pin the bill in place so that it will not move as you sew it.Sew the underside of the bill flat, but as you sew the upper part, raise it a bit to a curve upwards to immitate the real bill of a duckie.Fasten off.
