Best Blog Tips

Materials:
Worsted weight yarn (I used Red Heart’s Black, Bright Yellow, Carrot Pumpkin and Pale Yellow)
Fiberfill

Tapestry or blunt needle
1 little bell (I used a a cat’s little ball with a bell inside)
Stuffing tool
Measuring tape
Crochet hooks size H and size G

Pins
Note: You can use cotton yarn if you like, but personally, I prefer acrylic yarn because it can be thrown into the washer and into the dryer often to keep the toy clean and it will not shrink.

Putting Duckieroo together: First, place both sides of the head right sides facing each other and sew them both sides of the face, leavin gthe bottom part open (leave at least 11 sc without being sewn). Turn inside out. Whipstitch bangs to the top of Duckieroo’s head across the front part of face. Fastenoff inside the toy’s head. Sew bill
in place as follows: Turn the bill so that the wrong side is facing. Sew the side first. then the bottom part so that it forms a little pocket. Stuff lightly with fiberfill. Now measure duckieroo’s little head so that you can place the bill centered. Pin the bill in place so that it will not move as you sew it.Sew the underside of the bill flat, but as you sew the upper part, raise it a bit to a curve upwards to immitate the real bill of a duckie.Fasten off. Sew the eyes in place following placement shown in photo. Stuff Duckieroo’s head lightly, insert the ball and cushion it with the fiberfill. Slip the head into the ring, letting the front and back portions of the toy overlap over the ring. Use photo as guide. Sew head in place. Fasten off.
