These baby bears are super cute and relatively easy and quick to make and have been loved and you can make one for charity or for a child you love. Here is the pattern, enjoy!

Materials-
Red Heart worsted weight yarn, Turqua (4 oz)
Red Heart worsted weight yarn Bright Yellow (4 oz)
Red Heart worsted weight yarn Pumpkin (4 oz)
Red Heart worsted weight yarn Tea Leaf (4 oz)
Red Heart worsted weight yarn Aran (4 oz)
Red Heart worsted weight yarn Black (4 oz)
Red Heart worsted weight yarn Warm Brown (4 oz)
Crochet hook size H
Pins
Scissors
Fiberfill
Color for the cheeks. (Optional- I use chalk artist's pastels)



Body (Make 2-)
With Pumpkin and H hook, ch 31.
Row 1- 1 sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across. (30 sc) Ch 1, turn.
Rows 2 to 10- 1 sc in each sc across. (30 sc) Ch 1, turn.
Row 11- 1 sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across. (30 sc) Fasten off, leaving long tail to sew with.
Row 12- Join Turqua and work 1 sc in each sc across. (30 sc) Ch 1, turn.
Rows 13 to 15- 1 sc in each sc across. (30 sc) Ch 1, turn.
Row 16- 1 sc in each sc across. (30 sc) Fasten off, leaving long tail to sew with.
Row 17- Join Bright Yellow and work 1 sc in each sc across. (30 sc) Ch 1, turn.
Row 18- 1 sc in each sc across. (30 sc) Ch 1, turn.
Row 19- 1 sc in each sc across. (30 sc) Fasten off, leaving long tail to sew with.
Row 20- Join Tea Leaf and work 1 sc in each sc across. (30 sc) Ch 1, turn.
Rows 21 to 23- 1 sc in each sc across. (30 sc) Ch 1, turn.
Row 24- 1 sc in each sc across. (30 sc) Fasten off, leaving long tail to sew with.
Row 25- Join Bright Yellow and work 1 sc in each sc across. (30 sc) Ch 1, turn.
Rows 26 to 29- 1 sc in each sc across. (30 sc) Ch 1, turn.
Row 30- 1 sc in each sc across. (30 sc) Fasten off, leaving long tail to sew with.



Head (make 1 on Front and 1 on Back)-
Join Aran.
Row 1- Make 1 sc in each st to the end of row. (30 sc) Ch 1, turn.
Rows 2 to 11- 1 sc in each sc across. (30 sc) Ch 1, turn.
Row 12- Sc2tog over first 2 sc, 1 sc in each sc till last 2 sc, sc2tog over last 2 sc. (28 sc) Ch 1, turn.
Row 13- 1 sc in each sc across. (28 sc) Ch 1, turn.
Row 14- Sc2tog over first 2 sc, 1 sc in each sc till last 2 sc, sc2tog over last 2 sc. (26 sc) Ch 1, turn.
Row 15- 1 sc in each sc across. (26 sc) Ch 1, turn.
Row 16- Sc2tog over first 2 sc, 1 sc in each sc till last 2 sc, sc2tog over last 2 sc. (24 sc) Ch 1, turn.
Row 17- 1 sc in each sc across. (24 sc) Ch 1, turn.
Row 18- Sc2tog over first 2 sc, 1 sc in each sc till last 2 sc, sc2tog over last 2 sc. (22 sc) Ch 1, turn.

Row 25- Sc2tog over first 2 sc, 1 sc in each sc till last 2 sc, sc2tog over last 2 sc. (12 sc)  Fasten off, leaving long tail to sew with.


 Arms (Make 2)-
With Aran and H hook, ch 2.
Rnd 1- Work 6 sc in second ch from hook (or in magic ring if you choose to use it), sl st to join rnd. (6 sc)
Rnd 2- 2 sc in each sc around. (12 sc)
Rnd 3- 1 sc in first sc, 2 sc in next sc, rep around. (18 sc)
Rnds 4 to 8- 1 sc in each sc around. (18 sc) Fasten off Aran, weave in tail.
Rnd 9- Join Pumpkin and make 1 sc in each sc around. (18 sc)
Rnds 10 to 11- 1 sc in each sc around. (18 sc) Fasten off, weave in tail.
Rnd 12- Join Turqua and make 1 sc in each sc around. (18 sc)
Rnd 13 to 14- 1 sc in each sc around. (18 sc)
Rnd 15- 1 sc in each sc around. (18 sc) Fasten off, weave in tail
Rnd 16- Join Bright Yellow and work 1 sc in each sc around. (18 sc)
Rnds 17 to 19- 1 sc in each sc around. (18 sc) Fasten Off, leaving long tail to sew with.

Legs  (Make 2)-
Rnd 1- Work 6 sc in second ch from hook (or in magic ring if you choose to use it), sl st to join rnd. (6 sc)
Rnd 2- 2 sc in each sc around. (12 sc)
Rnd 3- 1 sc in first sc, 2 sc in next sc, rep around. (18 sc)
Rnd 4- 1 sc in each of first 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc, rep around. (24 sc)
Rnds 5 to 8- 1 sc in each sc around. (24 sc) Fasten off, weave in tail
Rnd 9- Join Pumpkin and make 1 sc in each sc around. (24 sc)
Rnd 10- 1 sc in each sc around. (24 sc)
Rnd 11- 1 sc in each sc around. (24 sc) Fasten off, weave in tail.
Rnd 12- Join Turqua and work 1 sc in each sc around. (24 sc)
Rnds 13 to 16- 1 sc in each sc around. (24 sc) Fasten off, weave in tail.
Rnd 17- Join Bright Yellow and make 1 sc in each sc around. (24 sc)

Muzzle-
Rnd 1- With Warm Brown and H hook, work 6 sc into magic ring or ch 2, and work 6 sc into second ch from hook, sk st to join round. (6 sc)
Rnd 2- 2 sc in each sc around. (12 sc)
Rnd 3- 1 sc in first sc, 2 sc in next sc, rep around. (18 sc)
Rnd 4- 1 sc in each of first 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc, rep around. (24 sc)
Rnd 5- 1 sc in each sc around. (24 sc)
Rnd 6- 1 sc in each sc around. (24 sc)
Rnd 7- 1 sc in each sc around. (24 sc) Fasten off, leaving tail long enough to sew with, embroider the Mouth on Muzzle and weave in end (approx. 60 inches long.)

Nose- 
Ch 7.
Row 1- I sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across. (6 sc) Ch 1, turn.
Row 2- 1 sc in each sc across. (6 sc) Ch 1, turn.
Row 3- 1 sc in each sc across. (6 sc) Fasten off, leaving a long tail to sew with.


 Eyes (Make 2)- 
With Black, work 6 sc into magic ring or ch 2, and work 6 sc into second ch from hook, sl st to join rnd. (6 sc) Fasten off, leaving a tail
long enough not only to sew Eye in place but also to stitch Eyelashes and then weave in end, about 60 inches long.

Ears (Make 2)-
With Aran and H hook, ch 2 or make a magic ring.
Rnd 1- Work 6 sc in second ch from hook (or in magic ring if you choose to use it), sl st to join rnd. (6 sc)
Rnd 2- 2 sc in each sc around. (12 sc)
Rnd 3- 1 sc in first sc, 2 sc in next sc, rep around. (18 sc)
Rnd 4- 1 sc in each of first 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc, rep around. (24 sc)
Rnd 5- 1 sc in each sc around. (24 sc)
Rnds 6 to 8- 1 sc in each sc around. (24 sc)
Rnd 9- 1 sc in each of first 2 sc, sc2tog over next 2 sc,sc in each of next 2 sc, 1 sc over next 2 sc, rep all around. (18 sc)
Rnd 10- 1 sc in each sc around. (18 sc)
Rnd 11- 1 sc in first sc, 2sctog over next 2 sc, rep around. (12 sc) Fasten off, leaving long tail to sew with and weave in tail.

Using the yarn colors of your toy, sew the sides and stuff your bear. Stuff and attach the Legs and the Arms. Sew the Nose to the Muzzle and embroider the Mouth as seen in the photos.
While the Head is still open, stuff and sew the Muzzle in place. Sew the Eyes and embroider the Eyelashes and the Eyebrows as seen in the photos. Stuff the Head, close it. Weave in ends.
Attach the Ears. Fasten off, weave in ends.
