In the Funmigurumi farmlands, little lambs are not white or
black, they come in cotton candy pink, sweet peppermint, vanilla ice cream and
banana custard colors, and they are fun and just plain huggable! This little
lamb follows the style of old patchwork toys and that is what makes her so
unique and cute. It is quite easy to make for an intermediate crocheter and it
will certainly receive lots of hugs from someone you love.

Thread blunt needle with the yarn tails you left and sew together the two Front strips down the middle. Fasten off, weave in ends on the wrong side. Matching the directions of the colors you see for the Front Strips, place the two Back sides together and sew down the middle, being careful to only sew the edge and not to catch any of the ruffles that form the “wool.” The best way to do this is to match the colors and place both strips with Front “wool” Sides facing each other and Wrong Sides facing you and to sew them down the middle using the appropriate colors, otherwise, it would be easy to get your needle caught in the “wool.” Fasten off, weave in ends. Now thread blunt needle with leftover tails and sew Front and Back sides together. Fasten off, weave in ends inside Body. Sew Bottom of Body closed, but leave the top open for now. Fasten off, weave in tails.

Rnd 1- In first loop, ch 4, sl st in same loop, *sl st in next loop, ch 4, sl st in same loop, rep from * around. You will now have a “flower” around the center of the piece.
To cover the center, bring the beginning tail to the bare center of the piece, insert C hook through one side of the center as if you were going to make a post stitch, bring up 1 loop, make a ch 4, insert yarn across, on the opposite side of the center, sl st to secure “Wool” loop and pull yarn through to finish off, then pull through to the back of piece and weave in end.

Putting Woolly Together-
Stuff Arms and sew to Body. Fasten off, weave in tail inside body.
Stuff Legs and sew to Body. Fasten off, weave in tail inside body.
Stuff tail very lightly and sew to the center of Back, where all the “woolly” blocks meet.
Sew firmly, you know that children like to pull tails, and as you do, make sure the loops are do not get caught, secure end inside Body.
Stuff Muzzle and measure Front to center it. Leave 6 rows free on the Bottom of Front, and 7 free rows on the top. Pin it down. Sew all around. Secure ends inside Body.
Pin Eyes above Muzzle. Sew in place as shown. Stitch a couple of Eyelashes and then the Eyebrows as shown. Fasten off, weave in ends. With White make a couple of stitches to give the Eyes some light.
Stuff Woolly’s Body well, making sure the corners of the Body are well filled but without making lumps. Sew top of Body closed, weave in ends. Attach Ears and sew in place as shown, gathering it a little bit as you sew (especially the Pink underside) so that they will be a bit curved and not stick out like two antennas. Attach the round “Wool” for the top of the Head, centering it well and stuffing it slightly to raise it a bit above the Head. Sew. Fasten off, weave in end.
