  1. rows 18-23 you are to repeat row 15 but how do the numbers keep dropping

  2. Hi Shirley Smith, the reason why the numbers keep dropping is because you reduce at the beginning and at the end of those rows, sot hat in each successive row, you have 2 sts less than the previous row, just as you had them when you did row 15. Hope this helps!

  3. but row 15 says 1 sc in each sc across it don't say to dec. 2sc together but i figured it out so thx i enjoy making your amigurumi, i am making them for cancer kids,so they will have a friend to go through their journey.

  4. Hi Shirley Smith. Row 15 is not a reduction row, it's a color change row, reduction starts from the new row onward until you reach the narrowest part of the body and then it starts widening again. Row 15 is supposed to be 30 sc across. I'm glad to hear you're making Briley for charity! The original Briley went to an institution that cares for abused and orphaned children.

  5. Hi +Shirley Smith, the pattern is correct. Row 15 is NOT a reduction row. You change yarn color and work 1 sc in each sc across, just as before, you begin to reduce on Row 16. There is a reason for this. Sometimes, when people sc2tog "gaps" happen in the fabric and it doesn't look pretty. Therefore, we will be doing a "base" row before we start reducing, and there will be no problems.
