Today we start a new series of animals, I hope that you will make all of them with me. I want to make them fun and funny, as all my animals have been (that is what makes them Funmigurumi, after all). So get ready for some smoochies!
Materials-
Red Heart worsted wight yarn, Spring Green (5 oz)
Red Heart worsted wight yarn, Pretty 'N Pink (5 oz)
Red Heart worsted weight yarn, Bright Yellow (5 oz)
Red Heart worsted weight yarn, Black (3 oz)
Crochet hooks sizes H and F
Scissors
Blunt needle
Fiberfill
Head-
With H hook and Spring Green ch 21.
Rnd 1- 1 in second ch from hook and in each sc across (20 sc), now, working on the opposite side across foundation loops, make 1 sc in each loop, sl st to join rnd. (40 sc)
Rnd 2-1 sc in each sc around. (40 sc)
Rnds 3 to 24- 1 sc in each sc around. (40 sc) Fasten off, weave in ends.
Stuff Head firmly.
Body-
Rnd 1- Join Pretty 'N Pink and with H hook, work 1 sc in each of first 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc, [make 1 sc in each of next 8 sc, 2 sc in next sc,] rep 3 times, 1 sc in each of next 6 sc, 2 sc in next sc. (45 sc -5 increases)
Rnd 2- 1 sc in each sc around. (45 sc)
Rnd 3- 1 sc in each of first 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc, [1 sc in each of next 8 sc, 2 sc in next sc.] rep 4 times, 1 sc in each sc till end of rnd. (50 sc)
Rnd 4- 1 sc in each sc around. (50 sc)
Rnd 5- 1 sc in each of first 15 sc, 2 sc in next sc, 1 sc in each of next 15 sc, 2 sc in next sc, 1 sc in each sc till end of rnd. (52 sc)
Rnd 6- 1 sc in each sc around.
Rnd 7- 1 sc in each of first 16 sc, 2 sc in next sc, 1 sc in each of next 16 sc, 2 sc in next sc, 1 sc in each sc till end of rnd. (54 sc)
Rnds 8 to 24- 1 sc in each sc around. (54 sc) Fasten off. weave in tail.
Stuff Body firmly.
Muzzle (Make 2)-
With Bright Yellow and H hook, ch 2.
Rnd 1- work 6 sc in second ch from hook, slip st to join rnd. (6 sc)
Rnd 2- 2 sc in each sc around. (12 sc)
Rnd 3- 1 sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc, rep around. (18 sc) Fasten off, leaving long tail to sew with.
Eyes (Make 2)-
With Black and F hook, ch 2.
Rnd 1- Work 6 sc in second ch from hook, slip st to join rnd. (6 sc)
Rnd 2- 2 sc in each around. (12 sc) Fasten off, leaving a long tail to sew with.
Pupils (Make 2)-
With Spring Green and F hook, ch 2.
Rnd 1- Work 6 sc in second ch from hook, slip st to join rnd. (6 sc) Fasten off, leaving a long tail to sew with.
Ears-
Ear 1-
With Spring Green and H hook, ch 2.
Rnd 1- Work 4 sc in second ch from hook, sl st to join rnd in top of first sc made. (4 sc)

Arms (Make 2)-

Join Pretty 'N Pink.
Rnd 6- 1 sc in each sc around. (18 sc)
Rnds 7 to 11- 1 sc in each sc around. (18 sc) Fasten off, leaving long tail to sew with.
Stuff Arms and sew to sides of clothes. Fasten off, weave in ends.
Legs (Make 2)-
With Spring Green and H hook, ch 2.
Rnd 1- work 6 sc in second ch from hook, slip st to join rnd. (6 sc)
Rnd 2- 2 sc in each sc around. (12 sc)
Rnd 3- 1 sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc, rep around. (18 sc)
Rnd 4- 1 sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc, rep around. (24 sc)
Rnds 5 to 7- 1 sc in each sc around. (24 sc) Fasten off, weave in ends.
Rnd 8- Join Pretty 'N Pink and work 1 sc in each sc around. (24 sc)
Rnd 9- 1 sc in each sc around. (24 sc)
Rnds 10 to 13- 1 sc in each sc around. (24 sc) Fasten off, leaving a long tail to sew with.
Sew Legs at Bottom of Body, stitch across the 6 stitches in the middle, in between Legs. Fasten off,
weave in ends.
Tail-
With Bright Yellow and H hook, ch 2.
Rnd 1- work 6 sc in second ch from hook, slip st to join rnd. (6 sc)
Rnd 2- 1 sc in each of first 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc, 1 sc in each of next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc, 1 sc in each st till end of rnd. (8 sc)
Rnd 3- 1 sc in each sc around. (8 sc)
Stuff as you very lightly as you go.
Rnds 4 to 8- 1 sc in each sc around. (8 sc) Fasten off, weave in tail.
Rnd 9- Join Spring Green and work 1 sc in each sc around. (8 sc)
Rnd 10- 1 sc in each sc around. (8 sc)
Rnds 11 to 38- 1 sc in each sc around. (8 sc) Fasten off, leaving long tail to
Putting our little one together:
Do NOT stuff Ears, insert Ears into corners of Head and sew in place, fasten off, weave in tails.
Bow-
With Pretty'N Pink and H hook, ch 11.
Rnd 1- 2 sc in second ch from hook, 1 ch till last ch, 2 sc in last ch, working on the opposite side of the piece, make 1 sc in each loop of foundation chain, sl st to join rnd. (24 sc)
Rnd 2- 1 sc in each sc around. (24 sc) Fasten off, leaving long tail that is long enough to wrap around the middle of the bow and also to sew with.
Insert the Ears into the corners of the Head, and sew in place. Fasten off, weave in tail. Place the bow in the middle of the Head, and tack the ends, curving the Bow a little bit on both sides so that it will fit snuggly but also so that it will not lie flat on the Head. Fasten off, weave in tail.
Pin the Muzzle 6 rounds above the bottom of the Spring Green Head. and sew in place using the tails you left. Fasten off, weave in ends.
Sew the green Pupils onto the Black disk of Eyes. Fasten off, weave in tail behind the Black disks. Pin the disks just above the Muzzle and sew in place, stitch a large straight stitch in the center for the cat's eye. Stitch Eyebrows above each Eye as seen in photos (about 2 rnds above each Eye). Fasten off, weave in tail.
Stitch straight whiskers at the ends of the Muzzle. Fasten off, weave in tail. Center Tail at the Back of Body, pin and sew in place. Fasten off, weave in yarn end.
