Special Stitch: Loop Stitch- I find loop stitch easier to make with a piece of cardboard or a ruler.

To make the loop stitch, you wrap the yarn from front to back around the cardboard, while holding it in place, insert the hook in stitch you are about to make, going behind the cardboard and under the loop you are holding, pull up a loop and complete sc as usual, drop the loop from the cardboard.
